The Content Co-Op (formerly the Math/Science Cooperative) and the Texas Math Academies Pilot provide a comprehensive menu of services that enhance the ability of teachers and campuses to teach the Mathematics Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Specialists deliver professional development that spotlights high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and research-based strategies designed to develop rigor and competence in all mathematical concepts.

Services

  • Targeted support for districts implementing or refining High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM).

  • Assistance with House Bill (HB) 2 mandate compliance for K-3 math instruction.

  • Support for teachers in internalizing and adapting adopted math curriculum to meet student needs.

  • Guidance on resource alignment to maintain instructional coherence and rigor.

  • Specialized STAAR-tested subject workshops for Elementary Math, Middle School Math, and Algebra I.

     

Technical Assistance

  • Customizable campus visits including modeling, co-teaching, and observation/feedback cycles.

  • On-site campus visits specifically for HQIM support and implementation.

  • Live support and feedback from dedicated ESC-2 leaders.

  • Unlimited email and phone support for cooperative members.

  • Management of all logistics for Math Academy participants to ensure operational fidelity and compliance.
