Email/Internet/Systems Support:
Manage the exchange email system.
Manage email archiving, backup, and virus/spam filtering systems.
Create and manage user email accounts; provides solutions to customer identified problems.
Provide support and manage the VDI virtual system and network appliances.
Research and troubleshoot network / server problems by reviewing logs, records and network configurations.
Requirements: Education/Certification:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in network administration, with three (3) years of experience performing network maintenance, and two (2) years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN network design and installation, network hardware and software applications including network servers, printers, and other equipment.
Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals including printers, modems, and scanners. Install and maintain network cables and hardware. Work with multiple operating systems and network protocols (i.e., UNIX, MS-DOS, MS-Windows, and MAC-OS).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Assists in the setup and maintenance of campus computer and peripheral hardware and software.
2. Coordinates campus computer lab operations.
3. Relocates computers and peripherals throughout the campus.
4. Acts as a liaison between campus and Technology Department.
5. Maintains an inventory of campus hardware and software.
6. Assists with the procurement of equipment and parts related to area.
7. Projects a pleasant and friendly personality, which exhibits maturity and self-control.
8. Demonstrates ability to communicate in both an oral and written manner.
9. Demonstrates punctuality and dependability in performing position responsibilities.
10. Adheres to proper channels when communicating ideas, problems, etc.

Requirements: Education/Certification:
Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license and the ability to obtain Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements)

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam
Ability to complete required bus driver safety training
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to use maps and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to follow routes and locate addresses
Ability to manage student behavior
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to operate bus
