Comprehensive School Health

The mission of the Comprehensive School Health Program is to serve as the central coordinating agency and collaborative catalyst for the regional school districts. Services include:

  • Provide districts with professional development trainings, workshops, and technical assistance on school health issues and concerns;

  • Provide training and technical assistance to facilitate and improve District School Health Advisory Councils and Coordinated School Health Programs;

  • Assist districts to meet compliance with TEA and Department of State Health Services mandates;

  • Be a catalyst for ESC-2 districts for promoting a healthy school environment and healthy behaviors of all students and school district personnel.
