WHAT
The Education
Service Center, Region 2 (ESC-2) will host over 150 participants at the
Transition in Texas 2007: Begin with the End in Mind conference
on Friday, February 23rd in Corpus Christi, Texas at the
ESC-2 facilities on North Water Street. The Education Service Center,
Region 2 sponsors the Transition in Texas conference annually for
parents and educators of students receiving special education services
in order to provide parents, teachers, students and professionals with a
forum for obtaining information about programs and sharing strategies
for more effective planning of the student’s life after public
education, including home, work, and community supports that a student
with special needs requires as they enter into adulthood.
WHEN
The conference is FREE and is
scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23rd.
