Two Education Service Center employees earn Registered
Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA) certification.
January 22, 2007 – Corpus Christi, Texas
The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) Board
of Directors recently awarded two Education Service Center, Region 2
(ESC-2) employees with Registered Texas Business Administrator (RTSBA)
certification. Renee Warner, ESC-2 MIS Systems Analyst & Public
Education Information Management System Coordinator, and Andrew Smith,
ESC-2 Business Consultant, earned RTSBA certification after having
completed the required coursework in school business operations.
Additional certification requirements included two or more years of
school business experience and a high recommendation from their
supervising administrator at the ESC-2.
Registered Texas Business Administrator certified individuals must
earn 60 hours of continuing education every three years to maintain this
certification which increases credibility and prestige in the education
community.
