December 4, 2007 – Corpus Christi, Texas Education Service Center, Region 2 (ESC-2) employee, Cindy Ferdin (pictured at left), was recognized for her service to students in the Coastal Bend Region at the 2007 Texas Migrant Education Conference held in San Antonio on November 27th – 29th. Cindy was awarded the 2007 Migrant Education Program Service Award for her work with the ESC-2 Migrant Education Program for the past three years. She has served the region in all facets of the migrant education program including district support, professional development, and conference planning.
