Summer 2009 Professional Development Catalog
The professional development catalog is published three times a year, in the fall, spring, and summer. The publication is distributed in print format and Adobe Acrobat PDF format on-line. The catalog lists professional development offerings that the ESC-2 makes available to teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals, as well as meetings and other regional events. The most up-to-date listing of professional development opportunities is available via our on-line registration.
Regional Improvement Plan
The ESC-2 Regional Improvement Plan (915.85KB (937827 bytes) Acrobat PDF File) is presented annually to Region 2 stakeholders, including regional school superintendents and the ESC-2 board of directors. A limited number of copies of this publication are distributed in print format and an Adobe Acrobat PDF file is made available on-line. The Regional Improvement plan outlines the organization's annual plan to promote educational excellence, resulting in student improvement and efficiency and economy of operation. The Vision 2010 Strategic Plan
The Vision 2010 Strategic Plan outlines the direction of the ESC-2 over a four-year period. The strategic plan defines how the ESC-2 plans to achieve the vision of "World Class Service for World Class Schools" for the benefit of Region 2 educators and students.
Texas Education Directory (AskTED)
The ESC-2 School District Profile, once a printed publication, is now available in the most up-to-date format via Texas Education Agency's AskTED website, home of the electronic Texas Education Directory (TED). The directory provides current organizational and mailing information for Texas public schools (including charter schools and Texas state agency schools), school districts and regional education service centers.
Online Media Catalog
The ESC-2 Media Catalog, once a printed publication, is now available in the most up-to-date format via the Educational Media Web Page (Website) . This site contains the video, film, and audio resources available through ESC-2 for booking by its member libraries. In addition the webpage includes links to the living material information center, van schedule, Bright Ideas "Make & Take Center", and much more!
