Class
Projects
Your class can participate in
projects that link them to other students and/or experts via the
Internet. Some are fee-based.
Picture your classroom--desks and chairs, books, art supplies, windows, doors,
walls...
You probably work very hard to make your
classroom inviting and comfortable. It's a place where your
students feel welcomed to learn. What about the size of your room?
What if your principal walked in and told you that funds have
become available for you to enlarge your classroom. That you will
have unlimited access to resources and experts?
You've most likely guessed that you're not
really getting a larger room. However, in a virtual sense through
the Internet, your classroom can expand beyond its walls into the
vast space of the "global community." It's exciting to think that
your students can connect with and study with students and
teachers all around the world. Your students can become active
members in online study through web-based projects.
