Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities
The Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) is designed to provide coordinated assistance, training and other services to regional programs serving identified students with disabilities, ages 3 through 5. Training is also made available to parents. Interagency coordination occurs with agencies and service providers serving preschool children with disabilities, i.e. ECI programs, Headstart programs, and childcare providers is maintained to facilitate transition from home and center-based programs to school.
