Center for Instructional Services
The Center for Instructional Services includes the administration and
maintenance of a central media library service, a Technology
Preview Center, and two Technology Training Labs for Region
2 school districts (LEA's) and participating private
schools. The media library service provides the delivery
system for all the ESC-2 centers, as well as incoming items
from the LEA's. It assists LEA's with their media programs
through media workshops, media duplication, and consultant
services responses to any requests that improves the LEA's
media environments. The Technology Preview Center provides
opportunities for educators to preview software, videodiscs,
and other media as well as viewing and training on
state-of-the-art technologies. The Technology Training Labs
include Macintosh® and Windows-based computers for
hands-on training for administrators, teachers, and support
staff at LEA's. The Technology Training Labs are available
for use by all centers of the Education Service Center to
provide workshops and demonstrations for LEA's.
