INTRODUCTION:
The Industrial Revolution was a time of drastic change and transformation in the United States. The nation was moving away from an agricultural economy and into an industrial nation. This change generally helped life, but also hurt it was well. Everyone believed that with this new technology and massive industry prosperity would come easily, and to some it did but industrialization would also bring about social and cultural change. You and your fellow students will look at different aspects of the Industrial Revolution period and research how this social and cultural change took place.
