Researches and evaluates new technologies related to computer networking.
Assists in planning, coordinating and consulting with vendors and clients for hardware/software product services and support.
Recommends and specifies the purchase of related products and services; assists and provides support to the Network Administrator, Technology Director and other technology staff as requested including performing scheduled network tasks, updating anti-virus definition files, monitoring network servers, and providing user support, and specialized training.

Email/Internet/Systems Support:
Manage the exchange email system.
Manage email archiving, backup, and virus/spam filtering systems.
Create and manage user email accounts; provides solutions to customer identified problems.
Provide support and manage the VDI virtual system and network appliances.
Research and troubleshoot network / server problems by reviewing logs, records and network configurations.
Requirements: Education/Certification:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in network administration, with three (3) years of experience performing network maintenance, and two (2) years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN network design and installation, network hardware and software applications including network servers, printers, and other equipment.
Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals including printers, modems, and scanners. Install and maintain network cables and hardware. Work with multiple operating systems and network protocols (i.e., UNIX, MS-DOS, MS-Windows, and MAC-OS).
Analyze and resolve computer network problems. Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
